Bale Bucker®
How do I make sure that Bale Bucker® will fit my
trailer and hay rack?
Just provide the measurements requested on our order
form and we will let you know if our standard model will
fit. In the event that our standard model will not fit
your trailer we will work with you to customize a unit
for you.
Can I install the Bale Bucker® myself?
If you are mechanically inclined and have the required
tools you should have no trouble installing the Bale
Bucker® yourself, although we suggest having a helper
for some parts of the installation process. For a first

If you are not able to install the Bale Bucker® yourself
we suggest that you contact your nearest horse trailer
dealer; they will usually install the unit for a
reasonable fee.
What about rust?
Bale Bucker® is powder coated to help prevent rust.
During the installation process we suggest you coat the
inside of any holes you drill with silicone to help
prevent rust in those areas. We also suggest that you
use WD 40 to clean and maintain your Bale Bucker®,
simple spray on and wipe off with a clean, soft cloth.
WD 40 can also be used to treat any rust that may occur.
Can Bale Bucker® be used on other types of trailers?
Yes, while Bale Bucker® was developed to load heavy
bales of hay on stock trailers it can be used for other
similar applications such as utility trailers with
storage racks.
One of our customers attached a Bale Bucker® to a wall
in his workshop to lift heavy items up to the second

How is Bale Bucker® Shipped?
Each Bale Bucker® weighs approximately 103 lbs and is
shipped UPS ground unless other arrangements are made.
